Sand and Sage Hunting Retriever Club (SSHRC)

Sand and Sage Hunting Retriever Club (SSHRC) is made up by a group of retriever owners, breeders, and trainers who routinely gather to train our dogs for hunting and hunt tests. We are a member of the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the Master National Retriever Club (MNRC). Formed in 1991, our goals are to help both the novice and experienced retriever owners with the basics of retriever training.  

We serve the Eastern Washington Region including Tri-Cities (Richland, Kennewick, Pasco), Yakima, Walla Walla, Moses Lake, and the surrounding areas.​

Our regular training days are thesecond Saturday of each month, and the 4th Saturday (if enough participation). We move our training days around to keep our dogs fresh and our minds challenged.
